About the role

Key responsibilities

• 01

  Edit high-quality long-form and short-form videos focused on AI, technology, startups, software, and productivity.

• 02

  Transform scripts into engaging visual stories using motion graphics, animations, B-roll, screenshots, screen recordings, and stock footage.

• 03

  Create fast-paced, retention-focused edits optimized for YouTube and social media.

• 04

  Add graphics, subtitles, transitions, sound design, zooms, and visual effects that improve viewer engagement.

• 05

  Incorporate AI-generated visuals and leverage AI tools to improve editing workflows.

• 06

  Maintain consistency in branding, pacing, and storytelling across all content.

• 07

  Collaborate closely with the content and creative teams to continuously improve video quality.

Required skills & experience

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience.

• Proven experience editing AI, technology, SaaS, software, and startup content.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality YouTube or tech-related video edits.

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.

• Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.

• Experience with motion graphics, kinetic typography, and visual storytelling.

• Excellent understanding of pacing, hooks, audience retention, and YouTube editing styles.

• Experience sourcing and integrating stock footage, icons, animations, and screen recordings.

• Ability to independently understand technical concepts and visualize them effectively using AI.
